Cheers for Local Beers! The Tap Dance joins the Craft Beer game on the Jersey Shore.

Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting The Tap Dance, a local brewery that has just opened in Asbury Park, NJ. This trendy new brewery has everything a beer connoisseur would want but also has something for those who are just getting into the world of microbrews.

Why is Local Beer better? (you may ask...)

Well, for starters, it supports the local economy! A local brewery creates more jobs and helps the community come together and thrive...over a cold brew of course.

Craft Beer is the best beer. It is locally sourced and has a better quality of ingredients. They also will spend less time traveling and will, therefore, be fresher!

You will also have access to more styles of beer and just overall have a wider selection.

You can also learn about the process by becoming a regular at the local business. Ask your brewmaster about his passion for craft beer, you will appreciate it more once you learn about all the hard work that goes into it!

We have all heard the phrase "Shop Small". This is no different. "Drink Local". It has a whole world of benefits to you, the business, and the community!

The Tap Dance is a prime example of a brewery you need to visit. Their gluten-free beer was delicious and you don't see that as an option very often. The Tap Dance truly had something for everyone and I was very impressed. The trendy atmosphere but friendly and welcoming staff created the perfect environment for the 21-year-olds home from college and also for the mom and dad out on "date night".

We all know the Jersey Shore loves to drink. This brewery is the perfect addition to the Asbury Park culture. Joining a long boardwalk full of upscale (and very well-loved) restaurants like Porta and Cubacon, many would think The Tap Dance is a small fish in a big pond. However, I think The Tap Dance is going to fit in just perfectly and is on the road to becoming a local favorite. The Jersey Shore has no shortage of breweries, however, this one is definitely worth a visit.

The photogenic interior and the insta-worthy beer mugs are the perfect way to draw in the younger crowd, while the crisp, fresh and locally sourced craft beers are everything a veteran beer lover enjoys.

For your next backyard barbecue or beach day with friends, consider buying from a local brewery to ensure not only the quality of your beer but a positive impact on the community around you!
