History and Workings of US Supreme Court

 While I had a general understanding of the workings of the Supreme Court, I cannot say that prior to this video, I had a lot of knowledge of the history of how it came to be. I also did not know many of the names of the Cheif Justices. The most important takeaway about the Supreme Court is that it has such a large impact on the laws of our country. The cases and their verdicts set the tone for every other similar case in the United States, and have resulted in monumental changes to how the United States was governed. The most surprising thing I learned is that William Howard Taft was the only person to serve as chief justice as well as President. The video changed the way I see the Supreme Court because I never truly realized what a large impact it has on US History and how it continues to change our country every day, and cause it to evolve.
